Our entry release states were designed to provide peace of mind to timekeepers, ensuring that their hard work will not go unpaid.

Entry Validation States

In the case where one or more of the validation rules are not met, an automated message will request the user to make the necessary edits before the entry can be released.

⏳ Validation Pending

  • This state indicates that the entry is currently undergoing validation and has not yet been accepted or rejected by the PMS.

  • The entry can be edited by the user.

βœ… Validation Success

  • This state indicates that the entry has passed all validation requirements and is ready to be released.

  • The entry can still be edited during this state.

🚫 Validation Failed

  • This state indicates that the entry has failed validation requirements and cannot be released.

  • The entry can still be edited during this state to correct any issues.

Entry Release States

These states will clearly show the status of an entry, allowing you to quickly distinguish between entries that are released from Laurel but waiting to be accepted by your firms billing system (release pending), those that have been released successfully (release success), and those that have been rejected (release failed).

⏳ Release Pending

  • This state indicates that the entry has been released from Laurel but is awaiting acceptance by the PMS.

  • The entry cannot be edited by the user.

πŸ“ Note: Entries that are in a pending state will be included in the released time total. If it is rejected from the PMS, it will be removed from the total.

βœ… Release Success

  • This state indicates that the entry has been accepted by the PMS and is now final.

  • The entry cannot be edited by the user.

🚫 Release Failed

  • This state indicates that the entry has been rejected by the PMS and needs to be fixed before it can be released again.

  • The entry can be edited by the user, and the release state process can be restarted.
