When you've wrapped up your day's work, it's time to take the final step: submitting your entries to the billing system. This crucial process ensures that all your hard work is accurately logged and accounted for, keeping your records up-to-date and precise.

There are two things you need to know about submitting your time:

  1. You can only submit entries marked with a green checkmark

  2. Once an entry has been submitted it cannot be edited or undone

πŸ’‘ Tip: Submitting your time teaches our Machine Learning to automatically assign your future activities. The more you submit time, the smarter we become!

Submit Your Entire Day

  1. Click β€˜Release’ in the top header of your Timesheet

  2. Make one final review of the entries you are submitting

  3. If you are satisfied, click β€˜Release Entries’

Submit Single or Multiple Entries

  1. Select the entry or entries you want to submit

  2. Click β€˜Release’ in the top header of your Timesheet

  3. Complete a quick review of the entries you are submitting

  4. If you are satisfied, click β€˜Release Entries’

Is there anything else I should know?

πŸ“A couple of points we want you to be aware of:

  • Your entries will never be released without your approval.

  • Submitted entries will be highlighted green and are no longer editable.

  • Be aware of the unreleased time filter to your Timesheet. This will hide all of your submitted entries, and bring all unreleased entries to the forefront.

  • If you see a green circle with a white checkmark, your entries have been successfully released to your billing system. It may take some time for them to appear, but there is no further action needed on your end.

  • If you see a green paper airplane, your entries are pending release. Make sure to check back later to ensure the release was successful.
