Laurel collects all of your work activities and displays them as a review-ready timesheet. But if you prefer having an assistant keep your time in Laurel, you can assign a delegate who can view, edit, and submit your time on your behalf.

Assigning a Delegate

  1. Click on your initials in the bottom left corner of your Laurel window to view your Account Settings. Click Identity and Access Management.

  2. Type your delegate's name or email address in the Add Delegate field and click Add. If you don't see the name you are looking for, please reach out to the Laurel team, and we can get their account created.

  3. Click Save.

  4. To delete a delegate from the list, click on the trash can icon to the right of the name.

Keeping Time for Someone Else

If you have been given access to someone else's time, their name will appear in the "Delegators" list. You can switch between your delegator's Timesheet and your own.

  1. At the top left of your Timesheet, you'll see a dropdown menu of names. Select a delegator's name, and your workspace will change to that person's timesheet.

  2. You can create, review, update, and delete entries, as well as submit time for billing.

  3. Each entry that is released will be tagged with the delegate's name.

πŸ“Note: Any updates you make on behalf of someone else will also be reflected in their own Laurel account.
