Customize your Laurel account to best fit your workflow

Every timekeeper's needs are unique, so we put you in control of how your time is compiled and displayed in Laurel. Use the settings below to personalize everything from your time zone to who has access to your account.

Navigating Your Settings

Click your initials on the bottom left of your Laurel window, and select 'Your Account.' The heading menu will guide you to different categories. Remember to always click 'Save' to keep any changes!

User Settings

Select "User Settings" to manage personal details like your name, contact information, and job title.

Identity and Access Management

In "Identity and Access" settings, you can choose to give other people access to your Timeline and Timesheet. Assigned Delegates shows a list of people who can keep time on your behalf. If you are a delegate yourself, the Delegators list will tell you who has given you permission to access their accounts. Learn more about delegate access here.

Laurel Settings

Customize how your activities are collected in "Laurel Settings." This includes:

  1. Activity Settings. Select your preferred granularity of collected activities. By default, this is set to balanced, but meticulous will show more detail, while high-level zooms out to show only bigger-ticket items.

  2. Reference Mode. If you prefer manual timekeeping methods, turn on reference mode so that only entries and timers created by you appear on your Timesheet.

  3. Timers. When timers are toggled on, you'll be able to access the timer feature from the tab on the left hand side of your window. Toggle this off if you don't use timers and would rather remove the tab altogether.

  4. Timezone. Change your time zone when you travel so your activities are always gathered on the correct day and time.

Assistant Settings

Manage the websites and applications Laurel saves on your Timeline in "Assistant Settings." Add or remove websites depending on your personal research needs, and toggle individual app collection on or off.
